New Patients
What Should I Expect At the First Appointment?
When you come into our office for the first time, you will be greeted by one of our treatment coordinators and interviewed privately in our consulting office. We will talk with you about the challenges you have had in the past and what your specific dental concerns are. After we have reviewed your medical history with you and addressed any concerns you wish to discuss, we will take any necessary x-rays and the doctor will do a complete exam in order to diagnose and recommend a treatment plan. We will then address your treatment goals and how we can help you reach them, as well as discuss treatment options and costs. We try to give you several options, because we realize everyone has different priorities. We recommend that you bring someone with you, because it helps having someone you trust to assist with these decisions. In addition, please bring a list of all of your current medications.
Do You Accept Dental Insurance?
Yes, we accept most indemnity and many PPO insurance plans. When you call for your appointment, let us know which insurance you have and we will let you know if it is accepted by our office. We also provide outside financing for those patients who have inadequate or no dental insurance. Even if you are lucky enough to have dental insurance, please be aware that most dental benefits have increased very little since dental insurance was introduced in the 1970s. Although it may help with routine care, it often will only pay a fraction of major dental treatment. For this reason, we also provide outside financing for those patients who have inadequate or no dental insurance.
What Type of Payment Plans are Offered?
For your convenience, we can offer outside financing with 0% interest for up to 18 months or more extended payment plans with approved credit. In addition we accept all major credit cards and offer discounts to seniors and for full payment at the beginning of treatment. If you do not have dental insurance do not be concerned. A high percentage of our treatments are done for patients who do not have dental insurance. That is why we have other financial options are available. If you do have insurance, we will gladly help you file for benefits. |
